Tyndall Street

Tyndall Street, Cardiff is a residential development by IM Properties, consisting of 307 apartments with a mixture of one bed, two bed and studio apartments. A residents’ clubhouse at roof level overlooking the bay will be the main feature of the building’s roofscape.

It will play a central role in creating a local focal point within Cardiff’s Capital Quarter Development as a whole; delivering high quality accommodation for the private rented sector in the heart of he city centre with views across the city and the water front.

Working with precast concrete allowed us to begin with a simple form. We then introduced recessed areas into the central block of the building to break up the massing, but also to provide a recognisable entrance into the building
